History of the Reverend John Robinson Chapter, NSDAR
On April 15, 1950, thirty-two organizing members met with our founding chapter regent, who was a direct descendant of Reverend John Robinson. Reverend John Robinson was chosen for the chapter's name to honor a man whose life was dedicated to religious freedom. Our chapter is a vibrant, relevant service organization whose members have represented a large part of Tulsa's civic and community affairs. In addition, chapter members have served our National Society in various roles supporting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
